Dr. Ruth Gomes

Postdoctoral fellow

Ruth has completed her PhD in synthesis and application of porous organic materials from the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS), Kolkata, India. She then worked as a post-doctoral researcher in the field of organic batteries in the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, India, before moving to Germany to join the Post Lithium Storage (POLiS) Cluster of Excellence-Ulm University to work on organic next generation batteries. She is specialized in synthesis of organic materials, physical and electrochemical characterization techniques and testing organic electrodes for various battery system. She is currently working on development of organic electrodes for high voltage full organic batteries within the NAMI Group.
